Greetings from the land of humidity and heat!
I'm sitting in an Internet cafe across from Cafe des Artistes in Ubud, Bali where we had a very late lunch (4pm). We just returned from Komodo Island where we saw about 10 Komodo Dragons (on Rinca & Komodo Islands). Now I know why they were laying around doing nothing most of the time :)
Had a great snorkeling experience off Angel Island - the currents are incredible.
Spent one day in Ubud when we first arrived, exploring all the great artists - stone carvers, wood carvers, glass blowers, batik making, silver ... lots of talent here!
The internet connections are few and far between and very slow so be patient with my postings!
Tomorrow we head for Java where we will explore volcanoes, temples and lots more... I'll try to keep posting along the way!
